Situated in a 17th Century mill, beautifully refurbished with The Blue Group stamp,
the setting perfectly combines modern and classic elements which are reflected
in equal proportions in the food.
Andi Walker began his training as a chef at the age of sixteen and has worked in several high-profile kitchens throughout his accomplished career. Andi’s natural flare and complex understanding of flavours also led him to the semi-finals of BBC Two’s Masterchef the Professionals in 2015.
The tasting menu was compiled of 6 different dishes. Each dish was made from ingredient’s that are currently in season and everything was put together beautifully.
At his own pop-up dining experience above the Riverside Inn in Chelmsford. Here, diners can enjoy a seasonal, weekly-changing menu. Certainly a must-visit venue!"
Andi makes everything from scratch and explains each course when it is served. Some truly different flavours (never had marmite butter before but it works!) and beautiful presentation all heighten a sense of top-end cuisine.
